Customized Space Capsule House

Where traditional infrastructure fails, innovation leads. The Series Customized Space Capsule House is engineered for those operating at our planet's extremes-and beyond. It's not just shelter; it's a reliable life-support and work platform, empowering science, exploration, and survival in the most unforgiving conditions.

Overview

The Series is a modular, foldable residential unit designed for aerospace institutions, polar expeditions, high-altitude research teams, and extreme tourism operators. Balancing structural stability, professional customization, and mobility, it addresses gaps in traditional permanent stations and ordinary temporary housing.

With 3-person assembly (60 minutes), 1/8 folded transport size, and ≥12㎡ sealed living space, it meets global extreme environment standards-delivering integrated support for safety, work efficiency, and mission adaptability.

Mission Spotlight: Conquering the Antarctic Frontier

The Challenge

In 2024, an international expedition (China/Australia/Norway) needed a 30-person camp in 5 days for Lambert Glacier ice core sampling. Traditional stations required 15+ days to deploy, while tents couldn't withstand -40℃ temperatures and 160km/h winds.

Our Solution

10 units (8 standard + 2 radiation-shielded with sample storage) equipped with ice anchors and wind-solar power systems.

The Triumph

Deployed in 4 days (1 day ahead of schedule)

Withstood -42℃ lows and 180km/h winds; indoor temperature stable at 22℃

40% cost savings vs. fixed stations

100% reuse for subsequent meteorological missions

"These capsules are a game-changer-combining speed, durability, and customization no other solution matches," said Dr. Emma Wilson, Expedition Leader.

Key Advantages

Durability for Extreme Conditions

  • Titanium alloy frame with aerospace welding resists ice/rock impacts and 20+ folding cycles
  • Aerospace composite panels with anti-corrosion/radiation film endure salt spray, UV rays, and sandstorms
  • ≤1200kg folded weight enables transport to remote, roadless regions

Safety & Comfort

  • 4-layer insulation + electric heating film maintains 20–24℃ indoors (even at -50℃ or 45℃)
  • HEPA 14 filtration + oxygen circulation keeps PM2.5 ≤5μg/m³ and 21%±1% oxygen concentration
  • Pressure control valve prevents altitude sickness and simulates low-pressure environments (≤0.01MPa/h loss)

Mission-Centric Design

  • Dedicated 2.0×0.6×2.5m rack for scientific instruments + waterproof data workbench
  • Foldable compact size for ice/mountain transport; cylindrical expanded structure for uneven terrain
  • 92% terrain adaptability rate (vs. 55% for traditional fixed stations)

Rapid Deployment & Reusability

  • 60-minute assembly (12x faster than traditional housing) for emergency missions
  • 20+ folding/expansion cycles support cross-scenario relocation (polar → desert → high-altitude)
